Description

The Mack Brothers EVO II Titanium Action is made from a 6Al-4V titanium alloy, reducing the weight of a standard Rem. 700 SA by 35%. Each action is cut utilizing advanced wire EDM technology for precision tolerances and reduced internal residual stress on the action compared to traditional machining.

This BDL action comes with a self-indexing 17-4 stainless recoil lug, complete bolt, and a two-piece aluminum 0 MOA Picatinny rail. The enhanced recoil lug adds thread tenon length for more contact with the barrel, increasing rigidity and overall precision in the rifle system. The Wyatt’s Extended Magazine Boxes are compatible with the action. The overall cartridge length for the short action is 2.990″. Additional features include a streamlined external bolt stop rotated five degrees above the stock line eliminating the need to inlet the stock for clearance. Tool-less fire control and extractor removal for ease of field maintenance.

The one piece bolt body is also CNC machined from a 2″ round heat treated 4340 blank in only one operation and features a modified M16 style extractor. Each bolt is nitrided for reduced friction and superior durability. The bolt handle is threaded 1/4-28 and is compatible with two other bolt handle options that are available separately. These knobs are only compatible with the EVO Gen II bolt.  Available in standard, magnum, and .223 bolt faces. All parts proudly made in America.
